The backstory of "Pressuring" has an interesting evolution. Pressure can come in all forms in any industry or workplace. Maybe the pressure is sexual harassment by a co worker, the long term manipulation of others by a fellow leader, or the persuasion for an artist to change the context of a work for someone else's peace of mind.
What was once a piece about double standards between gender roles, work roles, and how two people originally fell in love, it also represents the firm stance I take against anyone pressuring me to change my art.
Created for the solo show "The Spinster & The Carpenter"
Comes with Sculpturing, Hand Blown Glass Cloche Dome, Black Engraved Base with Armature, Travel Pouch, and Signed, Numbered, Dated, Fingerprinted Documentation, and Original Framed Rendering/Sketch.
